To Senders and Goers,

First of all, my sincere thanks on behalf of Missions Committee to Richard and Ronald for heading up the fund raising events and for their wonderful heart and being fantastic senders! Also, thank you Sam Oh, I must admit that I’ve never seen any project put together this well by senders prior to a team’s departure in such a short time, not to mention what is planned to be covered during and after the trip. I really enjoy this site put together for team members: video essays by individuals and various replies (including a mother’s genuine prayer for her daughter and many support from friends, etc., awesome), and things are bilingual too. Wow, all the effort, only love will do that! I am sure your love as sender will be carried by the team. May God bless it manifolds that His love will overflow from the team to the hearts of Mali people! The following verse comes to my mind: “By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” (John 13:35)

To all Senders, thank you for your prayers and financial support to the team! As a fellow sender for this team, it’s a privilege to partake in God’s ministry through these Goers; it’s exciting to know that the name of Jesus will be proclaimed in Mali! So, thank you all Senders, “for your partnership in the gospel.” (Phil 1:5) It will be heavenly rewarded, as “what may be credited to your account” (Phil 4:17), as your gifts “are a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God.” (Phil 4:18) Need I say more!

Finally, to the Team members, each of you may have your own reasons for joining and going on this trip and have different expectations of all sorts. (And no doubt God will honour those in line with His will.) We ask that you let go of all your own and truly focus on God alone, and expect only that which comes from Him. Know that you are partaking in the story of God’s glory that began even before he created earth and man, displayed and acknowledged by all creations, revealed to Abraham in an unconditional promise to bless all nations, continued in history of his chosen people, and finally the Covenant fulfilled to all people through His Son and our Lord Jesus Christ, who is the author of our salvation and love. And His glory continues through the church even today in following His Great Commission, and to eternity. You are partaking in bringing worship to places where there is none. So, we pray for you earnestly! Will you carry His heart, see people with His eyes, and love the people with His love? Even through a short trip like this, you will come back in awe of knowing that God is really, really, really BIG!! We bless you in Jesus name that you will be blessing unto the people of Mali with the gospel. I know you will bring back many stories of God’s goodness and faithfulness. All glory to Him!
